Work & School

So, I started my new job yesterday.
It's not so bad. Yesterday and today were all just those silly online learning classes they make you take - today was four hours of how to use the register - but tomorrow I start cashiering for real and sometime soon they'll be sending me to HQ to get the training I need to do the Lowes to Go thing I'm supposed to be doing.

Also yesterday I found out I got into the college I put in for summer classes at. No word on the Financial Aid yet, which will really be the deciding factor, but I have until the 14th to figure out what I'm going to do. As soon as I get my schedule for next week, I think I'm going to make an appointment with the advisers there and see if maybe I can get some general classes done online over the summer and then start taking lectures in the fall - as it turns out this job is only a SEASONAL position.... But we'll see what happens
Ugh, seasonal job. Did they just not mention that or what? But I'm sure you'll find something more permanent. Good luck with financial aid, I'll keep my fingers crossed :D I have to fill out these papers for financial aid, but I'm not sure where to send them :\ I think back to the school?
no, they didn't. ugh.
i'm not sure they do finacial aide for the summer... idk if i can even afford 1 class w/o it.... and then i'll have to reapply in the fall. ick. and I'd think sending yours back to the school is the best bet
Yeah, I talked to a couple people, and I've decided I'm going to physically take it to the financial aid department and ask them.
