It's been a week

So it's been a week since I was seperated from the Navy.

On an interesting note, it's also been a year to the day since I first signed the enlistment papers, but I suppose that's neither here nor there anymore.

I took the morning off applications, mostly because I thought my head was going to explode if I did anymore, but that turned out to be for the best because I got one last-minute interview at a store in the mall today that I think went very well and another lined up for next Tuesday at a resort outside of town if that falls through. Plus I've like 50 other applications floating out there (really, I do), so hopefully that will be enough.

I'm about a third of the way through my whole "memoir of my time in the navy" that I plan on posting eventually, and have six more pages of my "translation"/typing up of story number 3 for the AJ 'Verse to go. With luck, I'll have that up for you guys tonight. (I also have a rough summary for an original book idea that came to me last night penned out, and hopefully I can turn that into a more detailed outline before long.)

But, more importantly, Mom is gone for the rest of the afternoon and dad's still at school, meaning I am home ALONE. Alone for the first time in over TWO MONTHS. It is BRILLIANT and should totally happen more often, and hopefully will once I get all my ducks in a row.

Anyway, thanks for all your support and well wishes, and hopefully I'll have something in the works before long.
Oh nice, and original novel idea :D And of course I'm super excited for more AJ verse XD Congrats on getting the interview, that's a good thing! Hopefully one of your interviews goes somewhere. I love alone time - I think it's very important for mental health *nod*
Being alone can be so important to your mental health sometimes! Glad you had some time for yourself. And once again, good luck with the job hunting! *hugs*
