Have you ever had a dream that felt so real that it seriously creeps you out, even if you know it can't possibly be real?

Last night I had a seriously creepy one. Maybe I'd just been looking up too much BSG stuff online right before bed, but it was this weird dream where I was coming back from my parent's house and noticed something wasn't right with my car - like the weight ratios were off, like something heavy was banging around in the trunk without the banging. So I stop at a stoplight and take a good look in the back seat-

-and what should be there but this charred out husk of a body.

Quite naturally, I freaked out in the dream and immediately pulled over at the nearest gas station and called the cops. Only the cops, however, didn't seem to be all that interested and told me they'd send somebody by in the morning. And not to touch anything - therefore, not to drive my car to somewhere that wasn't a gas station late at night in the middle of a not so great neighbourhood IDK where - and to tell my parents, at whose house I must have picked up this gruesome package, not to go anywhere either.

And then I woke up.

Oddly enough, it wasn't even the body in the backseat of my car that was the creepiest thing in this dream, though, granted, creepy. No, it was the fact that it all seemed tangibly real inside the dream, and for a full five min after I woke up. So, naturally, I've been creeped out all day and cannot, for the life of me, fall asleep, despite the fact I know it's not real and will probably be another 18 months before I remember another dream at all. But still, creepy.
