Book Recs

Dear f-list,

With the closing of the one locally owned bookstore in town, my only source of books has become the university bookstore - filled with books I, for the most part, have either already read or have no interest in reading - or amazon. However, Amazon's recent list of recommendations for me includes the entirety of every Marvel Civil War comic book collection ever printed and not much else at the moment, and so I'm reaching out for book recommendations from all and sundry who may be interested in helping me out.

I'm not very picky about what genres I read. This week alone, I have read: The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark by Carl Sagan, The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell by Aldous Huxley, Five Billion Years of Solitude by Lee Billings, The City of Bones by Cassandra Claire, and am now dually reading A Dance of Dragons by GRR Martin and Mirror Sight by Kristien Britain. (My full goodreads profile can be viewed here.)

Suggestions are always welcome.
